Roof Repair questions
Should I repair or replace?
If the roof is under fifteen and the damage is localised, repair. If it is over twenty, or the granules are gone across whole slopes, a repair is money spent on a roof that is leaving anyway. We quote both when it is genuinely a close call and tell you which we would pick.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes. A single pipe boot is a real job and we would rather do it than lose the household. Plenty of our replacements started as a $400 repair three years earlier.
Can you match my existing shingles?
Closely, rarely perfectly. Shingle colours shift between production batches and every roof fades in the sun. On a visible slope we will tell you honestly how obvious the patch will be before you agree to it.
My roof only leaks sometimes. Can you still find it?
Usually. Intermittent leaks are wind-driven, which narrows it to flashing and penetrations on one elevation. Tell us which direction the wind was coming from and it narrows further.
