Questions we hear a lot
Will my insurance cover a new roof after storm damage?
Often, yes. If wind or hail damaged your roof, your homeowner's policy likely covers repair or replacement minus your deductible. We document everything during the free inspection and meet your adjuster on-site, so the full scope goes on the record rather than the half they can see from the ladder.
How much does a roof replacement cost?
Most full replacements in the Charlotte area fall between $9,000 and $18,000, depending on size, pitch and how cut-up the roof is. Every quote we write is itemised and fixed — the number we agree on is the number you pay.
How do I know you're not a storm chaser?
We have been at the same Monroe Road address in Charlotte since 2009, we hold NC General Contractor License #78412, and we carry top-tier manufacturer certifications that take years of verified local work to earn and are withdrawn if you stop earning them. None of those are things a crew that arrived on Tuesday can show you.
How long does a replacement take?
Most homes are done in a single day. Larger or steeper roofs may take two. We tarp landscaping, run magnets for nails, and leave your yard cleaner than we found it.
How fast can you get to me after a storm?
The storm line is answered 24/7, and during the season we run extra crews. Emergency tarping is usually same-day; most inspections are scheduled within 24 hours.
What warranty do I actually get?
Two separate ones, and they matter differently. Ours covers the installation for 25 years and transfers once if you sell. The manufacturer's covers the shingles themselves for up to 50 years. Anyone quoting you a single blended number is describing neither.
Can I finance it?
Yes, including the deductible. Plans run from 12 to 144 months with a soft-pull pre-qualification that does not affect your credit score, and there is no penalty for paying it off early.
Do you do repairs, or only replacements?
Both, and we quote the repair when the repair is right. Talking a homeowner out of a replacement is the thing we get reviewed for most, which tells you how rare it is in this trade.
